The Boca Raton Children’s Museum offers interactive, hands-on exhibits in the sciences, culture, arts and humanities. Permanent exhibits include Oscar’s Post Office, FACES Multicultural Room and Lillian’s Kitchen. In the permanent Audubon & Friends exhibit, children enjoy live exhibits of animals, while the Children of the Wilderness exhibit lets children step back in time to the early days of Boca Raton.

The Boca Raton Museum of Art features traveling exhibits as well as permanent collections of work from established as well as rising artists. Red Reef Park is a 67-acre ocean-front park that offers opportunities for picnicking, fishing, swimming, wildlife watching and snorkeling. The unique rock and reef outcroppings near the offshore area are popular among snorkelers, while fishers enjoy surf fishing in the park. The Gumbo Limbo Nature Center, which is located within the park, includes a 20-acre protected barrier island that serves as a refuge to many varieties of plants and animals.
