Tips for Choosing A Boca Raton Realtor

Work With A Local Boca Raton Expert

It is important to work with an experienced and knowledgeable Realtor who specializes in the area where you are interested in purchasing a property.  The local Boca Raton Realtor who is established and well respected in the community will have many relationships with sellers and other Realtors in the area. Since they are familiar with the various communities, they will be able to help you locate properties that only meet your needs and lifestyle expectations.  Also, through their many contacts in the area, the local Realtor may have knowledge of properties that are not on the market yet or expired listings. Look for an agent that has the designation Buyer's Agent.  This agent has taken additional training to earn that designation. Having a buyer's agent represent you is advantageous because they are working strictly on your behalf and have no conflicts with representation of the seller's interests.

Questions You Should Ask

1.    How long have you been in business?
2.    What percentage of your business is representing buyers and sellers?
3.    Are you a Buyer's Agent?
4.    Do you reside in the community?
5.    How many transactions have you closed recently?

How To Find A Realtor

The best way to find a local experienced Realtor is through referrals.  However, if you are new to the community, you may want to drive around the area, visit some open houses and talk to some of the Realtors in the area, look for their signage or advertising, or check out local Boca Raton real estate internet websites to find out who specializes in the area.
