This is an interesting graph that I saw in our local newspaper. Everyones big questions to me is, have we hit the bottom yet? If you look at the chart below the home prices in Palm Beach County are in fact down 15% from May of 2007. Now take a look at how sales have picked up since January 2008 until May 2008. We may have just found that bottom that the buyers were looking for. At least from looking at the chart seems like that is the case. The numbers look really promising. At least for home buyers. It looks like the prices are reaching the bottom, but I don't think that it will stay like that for long. As a Toronto real estate agent I would expect that some recent trends (oil prices, etc.) will have an effect on real estate.
