Facilities
I recently had an occasion to visit there and check out the facility. I especially liked the quite study room upstairs with views of the lake. There is also a café and gift shop on the premises. By the way, the gift shop needs volunteers if any of you are interested in working there. The rear of the building has a patio with beautiful and serene views of Blue Lake. The rooftop terrace also has lake views and is available to rent for special events such as weddings or parties.
Services and Programs
The library has many programs and events for everyone. The adult services are quite extensive, internet access is free for 1 hr. with your library card, compact discs, audio books, computer lab services, DVD’s, best sellers, fiction and nonfiction books, and the list goes on and on.
For youths -tots to teens, they have story-time and entertainment programs, school and group tours, summer reading programs, a computer lab, online resources, fiction and nonfiction books, etc. While I was there, a school group was touring and having lunch at the on-site café.

I’ve been a resident of Boca Raton for about three years now and am glad to see a new library going up. Its things like this that keep the Boca Raton Real Estate alive and it draws more and more people to our community. I would like to see building slow a little though as I prefer Boca to remain green and natural!
