If you're going to Boca Raton in March, you may want to stop by the Gumbo Limbo center and check out Sea Turtle Day. In 2012 this event takes place on Saturday, March 3rd. It starts at 10am and ends at 4pm and is a great way to have fun with your family while also helping with keeping sea turtles healthy and plentiful.
Don't forget to bring cash because there will be no ATMs there, and the many vendors may or may not take a debit or credit card. You will be able to browse various environmentally friendly vendor exhibits, from art to good food and treats you're sure to find something there that you can bring home as a souvenir.
There will also be a performance by the Sol Children Theatre and also a new mascot walking around named Luna that will make

Sugar Sand Park
I spoke to a potential buyer from California the other day, she wanted to move her young family to Boca Raton. She was told by her friends that Boca Raton was full of retirees and there were very few young families. It's amazing that peoples perceptions are still that Florida is primarily a place to retire. This couldn't be further from the truth, and a perfect example, is the amazing park system in Boca Raton. There are in excess of 20 parks in Boca Raton and they boast a dizzying array of family activities.
My favorite is Sugar Sand Park, located on 132 lush acres in the heart of Boca. The park has a tri-level science playground, a gymnasium that hosts several sports tournaments and special events throughout the year. There is a

Red Reef Golf Course in Boca Raton

The City of Boca Raton Red Reef Park Executive 9 Hole Golf Course is part of the Red Reef Park located between the Intracoastal and the beach on North Ocean Blvd. approximately .75 miles north of Palmetto Park and 2 miles south of Spanish River Boulevard on A1A. Designed by Joe Palloka and first opened in 1957.
I enjoy playing the course. Residents of the City of Boca Raton can purchase a membership card with substantial savings in fees. Golf carts are also available for an additional cost or you can walk the 1,241 yards, par 3 - par 4 course. I especially enjoy the surrounding beach atmosphere. If you are a beginner, this course is perfect.City of Boca Raton

Boca Raton Vacations Just Got Easier
One fantastic amenity of owning Boca Raton real estate and living in the south Florida area is the convenience of a quick Caribbean getaway. It’s a luxury most American’s don’t have and American Airlines has made it even easier to enjoy those oh-so-necessary diversions. Starting Nov. 20, 2008 American Airlines will offer daily, nonstop service from Miami to Antigua. Plans call for a Boeing 737-800 airplane with 16 first class seats and 132 seats in the main cabin. Antigua is approximately 290 miles from San Juan and the new nonstop flights will compliment existing flights from San Juan and Puerto Rico to Antigua by American and its affiliate, American Eagle. Enjoy at day inland at the Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge. It’s just 20 minutes from Boca Raton. It promises to have something for the whole family to enjoy, but it is truly a bird lover’s paradise.
The park protects and preserves wildlife on almost 150,000 acres of land and is home to the American alligator.
It’s amazing to think that as many as 257 species of bird take advantage of the diverse wetland habitats in any given year. If you’re a bird watcher, it’s the perfect place to get away from the hectic tourist areas and get some great photos. In fact, the park is known as the gateway to the Great Florida Birding Trail; a collection of over 400 Florida locations that were chosen to conserve and improve the state’s bird habitats by
