It's no secret that Boca Raton is known for its riches and class. The development of a new movie theater, iPic in Mizner Park shows signs of growth in what is still, a hesitant economy. Set to open this summer, CEO Hamid Hashemi founder of Muvico, will provide a pleasurable stress-free visit to the movie theater. Each ticket bought will have a seat assigned. Those who want a little more comfort will be able to buy a premium seat and enjoy free popcorn from their leather seats. Pricing has not been set as of right now. The possibility that a lounge will open is rumored but has not yet been confirmed. If you're going to Boca Raton in March, you may want to stop by the Gumbo Limbo center and check out Sea Turtle Day. In 2012 this event takes place on Saturday, March 3rd. It starts at 10am and ends at 4pm and is a great way to have fun with your family while also helping with keeping sea turtles healthy and plentiful.
Don't forget to bring cash because there will be no ATMs there, and the many vendors may or may not take a debit or credit card. You will be able to browse various environmentally friendly vendor exhibits, from art to good food and treats you're sure to find something there that you can bring home as a souvenir.
