Conserving Water In Boca Raton


Boca Raton homeowners should implement saving boca raton waterwater conversation now before current dry conditions cause water shortages. According to the Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department “water levels are holding up” because they have been conserving water for the district. So for now there is no immediate shortage.  There are 60 wells that are part of the Biscayne Aquifer. They are monitoring water levels carefully.  Palm Beach County already has a three times a week watering restriction in place. 

The City of Boca Raton has been implementing water conservation by expanding the use of reclaimed water and using improved irrigation technology to conserve water. The City uses approximately 6.8 million gallons of reclaimed water…

Sea Turtle Day is back at Gumbo Limbo in Boca Raton 

Saturday, March 12, 2011; Gumbo Limbo’s is holding its 6th annual Sea Turtle festival!  Gumbo Limbo is located at 1801 North Ocean Blvd, in Boca Raton, FL.  Free parking is available at Spanish River Park; conveniently located north of Gumbo Limbo on Ocean Boulevard.
 
During the parks hours of 10AM to 4PM for your convenience; a complementary shuttle buss to Gumbo Limbo will be available (no parking will be available at Gumbo Limbo).  A $5.00 entrance donation is appreciated.
