Market Update for Real Estate in Boca Raton & South Florida

The South Florida Real Estate market is on its way back. Based on information obtained by the RAPB, The Real Estate Association of the Palm Beaches, and the Florida Realtors Association, the number of closed sales in Palm Beach County rose 18.5%, from 8,208 sales in 2011 to 9,726 closed transactions in 2012. The median sale price also rose in 2012 up by 4.7%, from $234,000 in 2011 to $245,000 in 2012.

Who said that the real estate market in Palm Beach County is slow? Most of these people I would guess are sellers who decided to choose a discount real estate company or are not willing to have their home in a marketable condition for what MOST future homebuyers are searching for.
