Market Update for Real Estate in Boca Raton & South Florida

Based on information obtained by the RAPB, The Real Estate Association of the Palm Beaches, and the Florida Realtors Association, the number of closed sales in Palm Beach County rose 18.5%, from 8,208 sales in 2011 to 9,726 closed transactions in 2012. The median sale price also rose in 2012 up by 4.7%, from $234,000 in 2011 to $245,000 in 2012. 

New construction, which was on hold for awhile, is also back in full swing with several new communities under way.
